We are ReOpenning June 2!

As Part of Phase Two of the Governor’s Rural Reopening Plan, the library will open it’s doors on Tuesday June 2 at 10am. If all goes well, we will have open hours Tuesdays 10-2, and Fridays 2-6. Occupancy will be limited to three adults in the adult room and one family in the children’s room.  Masks will be required. Open sign with "0" figure wearing a maskCurbside service will also begin on June 2nd using our “Germ-Free Little Library” outside. Lots of details will be coming your way.

For now, please return any books you’ve been holding at home so we can decontaminate and get them backj in circulation. Use the book drop. And learn how to find and use the online catalog, as that is the easiest way for our curbside system. Tutorials coming on that too. Thanks to Shinebolt.com for this great graphic! See you soon, friends!

Thank You, Bowdoinham for supporting the library’s 47th Annual Plant Sale! It was bit different this year but we did it! We did it with the help of a great partner nursery: Sunset Farms . Thank you Sam and family for growing beautiful plants and being organized and fun to work with.  You customers came through for us too.  From Harpswell to Sydney, from Arrowsic to Auburn, you ordered online and came to collect your plants with smiles behind your masked faces.  Thank you! Lastly, a huge truckload of thanks to our Bowdoinham farmer friends who loaned both trucks and people power!  Thank you to Left Field Farm, East of Eden Flower Farm and Harvest Tide Organics for your amazing delivery help.
